How can I book a training?

Select your desired training in the Calendar or find it via Our trainings and click on “Book training”. This registration is binding. If you have booked via email rather than through our Rimo Academy, please always include the billing address – even if you have already booked training courses through the Rimo Academy.

How do I know that my booking has been received?

If you book through the Rimo Academy, you will receive a booking confirmation by email immediately after your registration.

Will I receive a booking confirmation?

One week before the start of the training session, we will send you an invitation with the required training details. This will also include the training address for classroom training courses and the link to the online training room, the date and time of the training course for web training courses. If there are not enough registrations for the booked training, you will receive an email to cancel the training. You are welcome to book an alternative date.

Do I need to take anything with me to a classroom training course?

After completing the training, you will receive the required documents. These include examples of exercises, any login data for the training client, for carrying out the exercise, the presentation and certificates. If you need to bring something with you (e.g. laptop, QGIS, etc.), you will find the relevant information in your invitation to the training course.

I have signed up for a training course, but something has come up. What can I do?

Please contact us as soon as possible! This will help you to avoid possible cancellation fees and increase your chances of finding a free place on another training date. In the event of a rebooking, please contact us by e-mail.

How can I cancel a booked training course?

2.2.1 Cancellation by the client

Cancellations up to 8 days before the booked event will not be charged. Thereafter, the following cancellation fees apply, unless you find a suitable replacement: 7 days to 3 days before the training 30% of the course fee, 2 to 1 day before the training 50% of the course fee, in case of no-show from the first day of training 100% of the course fee.

2.2.2 Cancellation by the Contractor

Cancellations by the Contractor shall be communicated to the participants at least 2 weeks before the start of the web training (at short notice 1 day before). Exceptions to this are absences due to illness and circumstances beyond the Contractor’s control. The possibility of rebooking to another date free of charge is guaranteed. The Contractor cannot be held liable if a web training course does not take place.

I have lost a certificate. What can I do?

I need a cost estimate. What can I do?

The following data is required for the cost estimate:

  • First and last name of the potential training participant
  • Address
  • Name and address of the employer or AMS
  • Desired Rimo training

A cost estimate is neither a binding registration nor a reservation. You do not enter into any obligations with a cost estimate. Your training place is only fixed when you book the training.

When will I receive the invoice for a training course?

After completing the training, you will receive an invoice with our bank details approximately two weeks after the appointment. Please pay this or transfer the amount via e-banking (please always quote the invoice number as a reference).

How can I create a personal Rimo login for my employees?

There are two options for booking training for an employee:

  • You book the training via your Rimo account and also let us know by email that it is a booking for an employee. This requires the employee’s first name, surname and e-mail address.
  • You request a login for the employee by e-mail. They can then use this to log in themselves.

What technical equipment do I need for a web training course?

For all training courses, you will need a device connected to the Internet, i.e. a PC or notebook.

For web training you will need speakers or headphones, but ideally you should use a headset to get better sound quality.

How can I log in to the web training with Microsoft Teams?

You will receive a separate e-mail with the appropriate link for each training date. This link is only valid for the specified training day. Therefore, make sure that a unique e-mail address is stored in your profile in your account. In order to be able to clearly assign your participation, please register with your first and last name.

At first everything worked, but now I have sound or picture dropouts. What can I do?

Internet connections are subject to fluctuations. Close all browser windows or the Teams app and re-enter the room or try a different browser.

What can I do if the audio playback does not work?

  • Check whether you can hear something on another website.
  • If several audio devices are connected to the computer: Check whether the correct device is activated for sound output.
  • Start the audio setup wizard in Microsoft Teams.
  • Close all browser windows and restart your computer. Try entering with a different browser.
