We, the Rimo team, email address: info@rimo-systems.com (“Email Address”), process your personal data when you use our app or website (together “Products”). We process your personal data in accordance with applicable local data protection laws, such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) or the Austrian Data Protection Act as amended.
SPL Tele Group GmbH does not collect any data from which the identity of the individual visitor can be derived. Furthermore, SPL Tele Group GmbH does not use any technological tools aimed at identifying visitors. Therefore, we would like to inform you that we process the data provided by you exclusively on the basis of the legal provisions (DSGVO, TKG 2003). You are generally entitled to the rights of information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection. If you are of the opinion that the processing of your data violates data protection law or that your data protection rights have otherwise been violated in some way, you can complain to the supervisory authority. AUTOMATICALLY COLLECTED AND STORED DATA
Firebase & Google Analytics for cell phones
General. For apps on iOS and Android, we use Google’s Firebase (for more information, click here) and Google Analytics for Mobile by Google (for more information, click here).
Firebase. We use Firebase to send push messages to our users (including when, for example, a work package is now unlocked for editing). For this we only use the ‘Firebase Cloud Messaging’ service (responsible for sending push messages). ‘Firebase Cloud Messaging’ uses Firebase installation IDs to determine which devices to send messages to.
User data is sent to Google in anonymized form. Our Apps use mobile device IDs, such as the Google Advertising ID (“GAID”) and the ID for Advertising for iOS (“IDFA”), as well as technologies similar to cookies for the use of Google Analytics for mobile.
Purpose. We use Firebase and Google Analytics to analyze and continually improve the use of our products. Through the statistics, we are able to improve our services and make them more interesting for users*. The basis for data processing is our legitimate interests.
Retention of data. Firebase retains Firebase installation IDs until the Firebase customer makes an API call to delete the ID. After the call, the data is removed from live and backup systems within 180 days.
Geoposition data
We need these to offer the user functionalities in the app, e.g. automatic localization in the map or recording of GPX tracks. If the geo position is saved (depending on the exact function called) it will be saved on the resulting GPX track object for as long as the GPX track is needed. If the track is deleted, the geo position disappears as well.
Upload of image files
Our users can upload images in various places. First and foremost, these images are used for construction or work documentation. These images are then used in another system (web application of Rimo) to enable other functions (e.g. funding).
Other Data
Like many other companies, SPL Tele Group GmbH tracks the general use of the website (performance measurement) in order to improve it for our visitors and to adapt it to their needs. During your visit, SPL Tele Group GmbH may automatically collect and temporarily store the following information about your computer and your visit: the domain and host from which you access the Internet the Internet address of the website from which you linked to this Site the date and time of the connection to our Site, the duration and selection of pages visited the Internet Protocol (IP) address of your computer and, if applicable, the operating system and browser software of your computer SPL Tele Group GmbH may use third parties to perform the performance measurement described above. In no way do we obtain information about the identity of a visitor. Third parties engaged are required to comply with our data protection standards, to transmit data in aggregate form and to use the data collected for the purpose for which it was collected and to destroy it thereafter. Some SPL Tele Group GmbH websites may store certain information on visitors’ computers called cookies. Generally speaking, a cookie assigns a unique number to a visitor, which has no meaning outside the assigning website. Cookies provide information about how and when the pages of a website are visited and by how many visitors. This technology does not collect identification data about individual visitors; rather, this information is also available in aggregate form.
