General Terms and Conditions of SPL Tele GmbH & CO KG (hereinafter referred to as the “Contractor”)
for the provision of services to clients (hereinafter also referred to as “Client”)
in the context of Rimo Academy (Software Training),
as of February 2025.
1. GENERAL
By registering for a web training or classroom training, the Client accepts these General Terms and Conditions. Oral amendments and additions are only valid if confirmed in writing by the Contractor. Registrations are only possible via http://rimo-systems.com/kundenbereich/academy and will be processed in the order in which they are received. Registrations, rebookings, and cancellations are only accepted in writing (via email to academy@rimo-systems.com). Each registration is binding. Invoices are issued after the training is completed and must be paid within 30 days net without deductions. In the event of late payment, standard bank interest on arrears will be charged. The Client is not entitled to withhold payments or to offset them against own claims.
A minimum attendance of 80% is required in order to receive a certificate.
Changes to the training agenda: The Contractor does not assume liability for typographical errors in training materials, presentations, or on the website. The Contractor also reserves the right to make organizational changes to training content or to cancel training sessions. The execution of online or classroom trainings is not guaranteed and depends on reaching the minimum number of participants. The Contractor is not liable for travel or accommodation costs.
All trainers work under contract with SPL Tele GmbH & CO KG. The Client is not entitled to engage them directly or have them take on assignments independently. All products and services provided by the Contractor are protected by copyright. It is not permitted to copy, reproduce, pass on to third parties, or publish the materials in any media without written permission. Training participants are responsible for safeguarding their login credentials from unauthorized access and must keep them confidential.
Participants are liable for any violations, especially if access credentials are shared with third parties or if access is gained by third parties due to insufficient protective measures by the participant. In case of suspected misuse or if login credentials have become known to others, the participant must immediately change the credentials and report the incident via email to academy@rimo-systems.com.
2. ONLINE TRAININGS (WEB)
2.1. Fees
All stated prices are exclusive of VAT. Payment is due post-training (payment terms: 30 days net). Your registration becomes binding for both parties upon receipt of written confirmation (via email).
2.2. Cancellation Policy (Registration deadline: 7 days before training)
2.2.1. Cancellation by the Client
If cancelled up to 8 days before the scheduled session, no cancellation fee is charged. After that, the following fees apply unless a suitable replacement is provided:
7 to 3 days before training: 30% of the course fee
2 to 1 day before training: 50% of the course fee
No-show from the day of training: 100% of the course fee
2.2.2. Cancellation by the Contractor
Cancellations by the Contractor will be communicated at least 2 weeks before the training date (in urgent cases at least 1 day prior). Exceptions include illness or events beyond the Contractor’s control. Clients are entitled to reschedule to a later date free of charge. The Contractor cannot be held liable for the cancellation of online trainings.
2.3. Recordings
The Contractor reserves the right to record online trainings and reproduce them afterward.
In the virtual classroom, participant names are visible to all, verbal questions are audible to all, and chat messages are publicly viewable – including during recordings.
3. CLASSROOM TRAININGS
3.1. Fees

3.2. Cancellation Policy (Registration deadline: 7 days before training)
3.2.1. Cancellation by the Client
